Bill was born and raised in Mercer County, the son of the late Jake and Velma Bewley. Bill is the youngest of seven children. Bill is married to Arlene (Richardson). He has 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. Bill started in the funeral industry in the early 1980's as a funeral director assistant and Emergency Medical Technician. He graduated from Carl Sandburg College in 2000 with a degree in Mortuary Science. Bill is a member of the First Baptist Church of Aledo, the Aledo Masonic Lodge #252, Illinois Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. |

Alan and his wife, Bonnie, live in Aledo. Alan retired from farming. Alan has worked with Bill in the funeral industry for many years and was willing to join Bill when the facility opened in 2003. |
Judy Hagens

Judy joined the staff in May of 2004. Judy and her husband, Jerry, live in Aledo. Judy is an active member of the Community Bible Fellowship church. |

Dean McCormick and his wife, Sharon, live in Aledo. Dean is retired. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Aledo. |
Sharon Richardson

Sharon and her husband, Don, live near Reynolds. They are the parents of Arlene. Sharon helps Bill whenever needed by answering the phones, staying at the office and baking cookies for visitations. She is a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church, Preemption. |

Diane has assisted with the funeral home since we opened as the bookkeeper. Diane lives in New Boston. |

Kathy lives in Aledo. She assists with the office duties, answers the phones and greets the public. |
Arlene Bewley

Arlene married Bill in 1986. She is a registered dental hygienist. Arlene writes the obituaries for the newspapers, produces the memorial videos, types the memorial folders and other necessary jobs. She is the daughter of Don & Sharon Richardson, Reynolds. |
