Dorothy I. Imler, 86, of New Boston, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at her residence. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Dorothy Imler memorial fund.

Dorothy was born Feb. 11, 1923 in Monmouth, Ill. the daughter of Maring M. and Mary M. Hall. She married Harold Imler.

Mrs. Imler was a housewife. She enjoyed her family and friends, fishing, country music and dancing.

Survivors include her sons, Terry (Tracy) Imler, Viola, Dan (Sue) Imler, Galesburg and Tim Imler, New Boston; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and son, Larry.
