Eugene F. Kinyon, Jr., 55, of New Boston, died on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at his residence. Memorial services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the New Boston United Methodist Church. There is no visitation. Burial will be at a later date. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Eugene F. Kinyon, Jr. memorial fund.

Mr. Kinyon was born July 11, 1954 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Eugene F. and Rose Alongi Kinyon, Sr. He married Lauren Hauptman in 1976 in Chicago, Ill.

Eugene was a painter. Golf was his love. He also enjoyed fishing, reading and playing bingo.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Kinyon, New Boston; daughter, Selene (Nathan) Butcher; grandson, Light Butcher; brothers, Michael (Sue) Kinyon, Jon Kinyon (Rick VanDerSnick); sisters, JoAnn Kinyon, all of Chicago and Susan (Dave) Heater, Wapello, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father.
