Kathel A. White, 81, of Aledo, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Thursday at Columbus Junction Cemetery, Columbus Junction, IA. There will be no visitation. Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo, is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathel was born March 12, 1926 in Louisa County, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Hazel Boulton Crawford. She married Eugene O. White October 19, 1942 in Kahoka, Missouri.

Mrs. White was a mill operator. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed emailing friends on the internet and watching American Idol.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene, Aledo; daughters, Linda Maddy, Mt. Pleasant, IA, Sherry Lloyd, Mesa, AZ, and Tammy (Skip) Wagner, Aledo; sons, Ron (Elizabeth) White, Rock Island, IL, and Rick (Medeleine) White, El Cerrito, CA; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Lee (Don) Neal, Springville, IA and brother, Larry Wayne (Jane) Crawford, Brighton, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Katie White.
