Arland Carl Elstrom, 82, of Joy, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the V. A. Medical Center, Knoxville, IA.

There are no services. Burial will be at a later date in Colby, WI. Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo, assisted the family with the arrangements.

Arland was born February 23, 1925 in Colby, WI, the son of Carl and Verna Frome Elstrom. He married Connie Viverito in Chicago, IL. in 1949 and later married Bonnie Constant in Milwaukee, WI. in 1959.

Mr. Elstrom was a WWII Navy Veteran. Arland was an electrician. He was a member of the American Legion, IEBW Electrical Union # 134 Chicago, IL. He enjoyed making stuff, boating, fishing, and being an outdoorsman. He was always doing something.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Linda (Berton) Weatherley, Joy, and Wendy (Denny) Kohley, WI; 2 sons, Arland Carl (Cindy) Elstrom Jr, WA. and Robert Elstrom, WI.; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Dori Seboe and Shirley Witte; and brother Lee Elstrom.
