Robert L. Mayfield, 66, of Milan, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center West, Rock Island.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo. There is no visitation. Burial will be in the New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, IL. Memorials may be made to the Robert L. Mayfield Memorial Fund.

Bob was born January 13, 1941 in Chicago, IL, the son of Mabel Mayfield. He married Martha Jane Lilly August 12, 1978 in Viola, IL. She died Sept 15, 2004.

Bob was a retired trucker for the Pinnacle Stanrick Corp. in Rock Island. He enjoyed classic cars.

Survivors include his children, Cory Allen, Andrew Scott and Emily Christine Mayfield, all at home. He was preceded in death by his mother and wife, Janey.
