Margaret Nyberg Coffman, 88, of Keokuk, Iowa, formerly of Viola, Illinois, died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Lexington Square nursing home, Keokuk. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo. There is no visitation. Burial will be in the Sugar Grove cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Margaret Coffman memorial fund.

Margaret was born April 24, 1923 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy Clark Long. She married John Nyberg in 1941. She married James Coffman in 1998. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Hamilton, Illinois.

Survivors (and spouse) include daughters, Carol Rankin, Davenport, Iowa, Nancy (Arthur) Leffler, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Maxine Clark, Kewanee, Illinois; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter, Shirley Ethridge, granddaughter, Beth Meyers Bartosch; grandson, Scott Mayer and great-grandson, Shawn Kunz.
